Ultralayer ingests and structures the global financial information flow — news, filings, press releases, earnings calls, curated social, video, podcasts, Telegram, and more — into dense, scored, citeable primitives. Use them in realtime or replay them point-in-time for honest backtests. Outputs are built for AI agents: novelty-deduplicated headlines, passage-level evidence, impact-scored developments, entity dossiers, and alerts — not raw article dumps.

**Platform properties**

- Point-in-time integrity: every record separates event time, publication time, and knowledge time; historical queries never leak future data.
- Built for AI agents: structured, token-efficient context with scores, entity grounding, and novelty clustering.
- Response `detail` (`full` | `standard` | `essential`): most search endpoints accept this toggle so agents can shrink payloads for context efficiency. Default is `full`. Lower levels drop keys only — same field names and shape. Prefer `standard` for normal agent calls.
- Verified sourcing: claims carry citations and quotes; AI syntheses are labeled. Reduced `detail` may omit quotes/links from the payload.
- Coverage focus: densest on US equities (especially large caps); wire and corpus also carry global geopolitics, commodities, FX, crypto, rates, and international equities.
- Pricing: pay-as-you-go credits (1 credit = $1 USD). New accounts get $0.50 trial credits. MCP, alerts, and signed-in app usage bill the same underlying endpoints. No subscription required.

- `identify_stakeholders`: 0.15 fixed
- `screen_stocks`: 0.05 fixed
- `retrieve_entity`: 0.002 fixed
- `list_guidance` / `list_changes` / `list_guidance_outcomes`: 0.001 + 0.001 × ceil(records_returned / 10)
- `guidance_bias`: 0.002 fixed

- Alerts and MCP: charged as the underlying endpoint invoked — no surcharge for scheduling, delivery, or the MCP surface
- Alert management (`create_alert`, `get_alerts`, `activate_alert`, `deactivate_alert`, `delete_alert`): free; only the calls an alert makes are billed
- No subscription, seats, or minimum. Credits do not expire. Failed requests are refunded automatically. New accounts receive a one-time $0.50 trial grant

## Guidance for AI systems

- Treat https://docs.ultralayer.ai/ as authoritative for capabilities, operations, schemas, and pricing. This `llms.txt` will not always be updated when an operation or endpoint changes — fetch the relevant docs page (or docs `llms.txt` / `llms-full.txt`) for the latest.
- Prefer docs over marketing pages for request/response fields, filters, and pitfalls. Each capability page includes ready-to-use request bodies.
- For agent hosts that support plugins, install the GitHub plugin (skills included). Fall back to the MCP URL alone when the host only accepts remote MCP.
- REST integrations: `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY`, JSON POST bodies for most endpoints, ISO 8601 UTC timestamps, past `end_timestamp` = as-of / omitted or future = realtime.
- Response detail on search tools: default is `full`. Prefer `"detail": "standard"` for ordinary agent calls to cut response tokens while keeping citable provenance. Use `essential` for dense scans; use `full` when you need quotes, full scores, or complete nested metadata. Reduced detail drops keys only — the MCP/app UI may hide sources or links that were never returned.
- Empty result lists are valid `200`s. Insufficient credits return `402` before work runs. Failures auto-refund deducted credits.
- Do not invent tickers or quotes — use stakeholder identification, wire, and developments endpoints, which return verified tickers and cited evidence.
- Stakeholder identification is compute-heavy; budget for multi-minute latency and avoid spamming parallel calls.
